당신이 손내밀 때
왜 내가 잡질 못했던가?

뿌옇게 색이 바랜 아쉬움 들을
가슴속에다 억지로 밀어넣어도
회상(回想)의 실핏줄을 타고 튕겨나와선
가끔씩 가끔씩 심장을 꼬집으며
덮어두었던 노래를  열고
가슴을 데우려고 하지만
굳어진 현실의 시간앞에선
그저 아랫입술만 꼭꼭 씹습니다.

그때  하지 못했던 그 고백들은
이제는  탁한 숨소리가 되어
가슴이 아닌 세월에다 불을 붙이며
한 줄  나이테로 사라지는 오늘,
당신이 손내밀때 잡지 못했던 손은
지금 주머니에서 겨울을 준비하고 있습니다.
